This whole new thing is a walk in the dark. The image of a lamp unto our feet is a bible image. And life is like that. In recovery, we learn to trust the program. In Faith, we learn to trust something more than me. In Jesus, we learn to trust the unseen Master. IN the world we learn to trust the herd. So how is that herd thing working for lemmings?
All the categories are similar, but not the same. That is the point. How you walk is determined by the quality of the light you bring to the path. The world seems bright but is lost in its blind herd mentality. Recovery seems bright in the very near term, Recovery is a very here-and-now operation. Faith in Jesus has a surprising substance. Does it make temporal sense? Maybe and maybe not. But in all-time Jesus proves himself faithful and true. At the Junction of Faith and Recovery, you are picking the vehicle to get you safely home.
